Fortech Industry: Connecting for substation Fortech Industry offers an extensive range of HV power connectors for substations. Several other types of connectors not mentioned are available or can be specifically designed.
Fortech Indusctry is committed to delivering safety, quality, reliability and performance to all its customers worldwide.
A team of professionals is available to provide expert advice and offer efficient and economic solutions to meet any customer requirement.
Why Fortech Industry?
Our knowledge and expertise tells us that all elements are critical to the strength of a network. When designing a substation layout, it is all too easy to underestimate the importance that each element – no matter how small or apparently insignificant – can contribute to the overall network efficiency. The complexity of seemingly simple items can be ignored, putting performance excellence at risk.
Quality and attention to detail are key factors in ensuring network reliability. For this reason, Fortech Industry dedicates particular care to the manufacture of its HV power connector components to assure maximum reliability throughout the entire substation lifetime, without the need for maintenance.
ENGINEERING & TESTING
Fortech Industry Lab.(mechanical) and the third party lab. (electrical) are fully equipped to carry out all type and routine tests such as: Dimension, Chemical elements, Hot-dip galvanizing, Tensile Strength, Slip Strength, Hardness, etc. RIV Corona Temperature rise up to 7,000A Mechanical tests up to 10,000 daN
Laboratory activity provides the best support to the R&D team for connector design and continuous improvement.
The laboratories are also used for incoming and routine tests to ensure that all products meet IEC, ISO, ASTM/ANSI/IEEE, GB standards.
PERFORMANCE & DESIGN Fortech Industry's full range of connectors can withstand the electro-mechanical forces developed during short circuits up to 80 KA, fully restore the electrical conductivity of the conductors and minimize the connector heating at nominal currents.
The external shapes are designed to provide the best performance in terms of corona emission reduction.
SAFETY & CHOICE Our connectors are designed to safely couple conductors and tubes of any size and are suitable for 27.5 kV to 800 kV applications. Our wide product range offer guarantees your best choice for any substation layout.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS 27.5Kv up to 800kV Up to 7000A Up to 80 kA Easy and safe assembly Cost-effective standardized solutions Conformity with all international standards Corona free High strength aluminum alloy
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
The technology used in the manufacture of our connectors is continuously updated and is the result of indepth research to optimize both material and production processes.
The aluminum alloys employed are selected to provide the highest mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The bolts are made in AISI 304 Stainless Steel or high grade carbon steel. The torque is calibrated to prevent conductors from slipping thus avoiding strain on external surfaces. |
